During a career that began in corporate finance at DuPont, Caren has always brought passion, enthusiasm and a tireless work ethic to any job. Today, as President of McCabe Training & Consulting, LLC, Caren shares her knowledge, experience and passion with companies committed to investing in their people to achieve success. The focus of her company is in three areas: Sales Leadership, Customer Service Excellence, and Personality Insights.

When it comes to Sales Leadership, Caren taps into her corporate experiences in sales management and sales training to deliver such programs as Business Selling Skills, Delivering With Style, and Let’s Make the Deal.

Caren also works with clients to assess their existing customer service operation and conduct training programs to motivate and educate customer service reps. Providing exceptional customer service helps an organization build and foster a valuable reputation for dependability and quality performance. The advantage squarely goes to those companies, firms, and individuals who recognize the value exceptional customer service contributes to the bottom line.

Caren is qualified to interpret DISC Behavioral Model and Values Model results. The DISC Behavioral Model provides a language to help individuals recognize and appreciate different behavioral styles in order to enhance communication, understanding and relationships. DISC Attitudes and Values helps individuals know which attitudes drive one’s life, actions, and decisions.

She also offers clients the TriMetrix™ System, an integrated system designed to help organizations improve hiring and retention of associates. Based on three core performance factors: ATTRIBUTES – MOTIVATIONS – ACTIONS, the TriMetrix™ System accurately measures a person’s ability to succeed within the framework of a pre-determined job description.

When she’s not traveling around the country, Caren enjoys an occasional round of golf. She seeks to recapture the magic that propelled her to two DuPont Women’s Golf Association Club Championships. “Now, if I manage to shoot my age for nine holes, I’m happy!” Caren was one of the founding members of the Wilmington Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA).

Caren has an MBA in International Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management (Glendale, AZ), and a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University (Villanova, PA).
