| Brenda L. Thompson Thompson Search Consultants |
In addition to recruiting and placing legal professionals, Brenda consults with law firms, corporations and associations on organizational development, business development, human resources, marketing and management issues. A frequent presenter, she has conducted seminars for DuPont, Villanova University, Widener University School of Law, the Association of Legal Administrators and other organizations. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Brenda is a loyal Steelers fan, and disappointed her team did not make it to the Super Bowl this year. (Wait till 2009!) After moving to Washington, DC in the late ‘80’s, Brenda started working for law firms in the DC and Baltimore area. She held positions of Legal Administrator and Marketing Director within her firms. Brenda moved to Delaware in 1996 and married her husband, Dennis, in 1999. Her son, Ryan, was born in 2001 and they currently live in Newark, DE. Brenda is currently serving as chair of the Economic Development and Corporate Sponsorship committee for Delaware NAWBO and is also a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Legal Search Consultants. She volunteers time at her son’s school – The Independence School in Newark. Brenda received her B.S. degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland and her M.S. degree in Applied Behavioral Science/Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University. For fun, Brenda sells handbags and accessories for Beijo handbags (www.beijobags.com). The bags are sold exclusively through home parties and trade shows, so if you are interested in hosting a party – give Brenda a call.
